2016 September - We built a small stone building next to our our country house this past year which we now refer to as, 'The Hoot'; it's got an owl / bird motif going on. We especially wanted a wood-burning fireplace in anticipation of spending snowy evenings with a fire blazing. The perfect 'hygge' accessory for The Hoot was this yummy-yummy afghan, something simple, graphic and very soft to the touch; pattern can be purchased on ravelry.com.
“2016 UPDATED tissue box cover pattern - ‘Ka-choo’ was first done in 2010 with Be-Sweet’s T-shirt yarn, but two new versions have been added which are knitted top-down (the first Ka-choo was bottom-up) and with Rowan’s All Season Cotton. It’s a quick & easy housewarming gift. Pattern can be purchased on ravelry.com”
