This design is an homage to the various Scandinavian knitting techniques the names of which reflect the areas of Scandinavia where they originated from; Motifs also echo the Nordic knitting tradition.

The body of this V-neck pullover starts at the bottom hem and knits upwards, in-the round using a circular needle. After the color work – easier than it may appear -is complete the stitches are split, and work continues working back-&-forth. The sleeves are started at the cuffs and worked in-the-round on double-pointed needles. The shoulders are woven together and then sleeves attached. The final step is to pick up stitches around the V-neck collar with a circular needle, knitting in twisted rib around.
